New Delhi: Praising the makers of ‘The Kashmir Files’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that these kinds of films are important for people to know the suppressed truth in India. PM Modi shared his views on the film while speaking at the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting before the start of the day’s proceedings in Parliament.
Notably, ‘The Kashmir Files” story revolves around the Genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit community, which happened in 1990. The film directed by Vivek Agnihotri stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles. It was released in theatres on March 11, 2022.
