From strange culinary pairings to showcasing one’s unique talents, social media has brought out the artist in everyone, in order to reach millions of people around the country. Bachpan ka Pyar vocalist Sahdev Dirdo and, more recently, Bhuban Badyakar’s Kacha Badam are two excellent examples of the phenomena during the last few years. These two regular guys became instant sensations, with their melodies enslaving the entire country. Adding to the drama, a new jingle from the streets of India features a lemon soda vendor singing an appealing tune while mixing the beverages.
