Amou Haji, World dirties man died at the age of 94.

Amou Haji, the World dirties man who was known for not taking bath for more than half a century, died at the age of 94 in the village of Dejgah in Iran’s southern province of Fars.

It is said that Amou Haji was scared of water and soap and had not bathed for over 60 years. He believed that using soap would make him sick.

According to IRNA News, Haji was single and avoided taking a shower in the fear of “getting sick.”

It is said that Haji was forced by the villagers to wash his face for the first time, a few months back. Many pictures of him were shared on social media by the users thinking if this was for real.

The World’s dirties man-Haji lived in an open brick hut.

Reports said that Haji had gone through some “emotional setbacks during his young age” after which he became stern about not taking a bath with soap and water.

Also, a report published in the Tehran Times claimed that he would eat roadkill and believed that cleanliness would make him sick. Some pictures are now being circulated on social media in which he can be seen smoking multiple cigarettes at once.

Based on his life, a short documentary titled ‘The Strange Life of Amou Haji’ was made in 2013.
