Anti-hijab stir intensifies, woman gives up her hair at brother’s funeral, VIDEO surfaces

In the video, the woman, identified as Javad Heydari’s sister can be seen cutting her hair over his grave. She then places the hair at her brother’s grave while group of mourning women stand besides her.

New Delhi: The anti-hijab protests that erupted in Iran over the death of 22-year-old girl Mahsa Amini is intensifying, with women in many parts of the country joining the stir.

In one of the soul-stirring incidents, a woman cut her hairs during brother’s funeral, who died in the government crackdown on anti-hijab protests. As the video landed on social media, it got widely shared and commented upon by people across the globe. In the viral video, the woman can be seen cutting her hair over brother’s dead body.

Iran govt’s clampdown on anti-hijab protests has aggravated the situation. Reports suggest that more than 40 people have died and over 700 arrested over their role in anti-hijab protests in the country.

In the video, the woman, identified as Javad Heydari’s sister can be seen cutting her hair over his grave. She then places the hair at her brother’s grave while group of mourning women stand besides her. Several distraught women can be seen offering flowers to her brother, who became victim of Iranian govt’s clampdown on protests.

Public anger & outrage have escalated in Iran & adjoining countries over the death of woman named Mahsa Amini who was apprehended by the morality police and later died in custody.

The 22 year old was arrested by morality police for not wearing hijab in proper way.

Protests erupted in London & France also and the respective govts deployed anti-riots police wing to stop unrest on streets.

Iran & its despotic handling of anti-hijab protests has also come under criticism by the global media as the regime blocked all communication tools including WhatsApp, Skype, LinkedIn, Instagram & others.
