New Delhi: Big fat Indian weddings are indeed a popular affair across the world and the much hyped-up glitzy traditional attires, colourful festivities, and energetic beats of drums and dhols are impossible to resist.

While wedding processions halting the traffic and taking over an entire road is a common scene in various Indian cities, a similar glimpse from New York will leave you stunned.

Suraj Patel, a former candidate for US Congress shared a video from his brother’s wedding procession in New York, wherein numerous guests donning traditional clothes and pink pagdis (turbans) shut down a broadway while grooving to Bollywood numbers.

The ‘Baraat’ can be seen engaged in to energetic dancing to various Hindi and Punjabi songs including ‘Saajan ji ghar aaye’ and ‘Mundiya toh Bachke’.
