New Delhi: As former US President Barack Obama visited Copenhagen, Denmark, he encountered an impromptu balcony choir. Obama was in the city for the 2022 Copenhagen Democracy Summit. The choir of women were seen singing on a balcony opposite Hotel d’Angleterre, where Obama was staying.
Obama shared the video of the choir on his Instagram and Twitter accounts. The video shows him arriving and encountering the singers rehearsing. The choir then performed an impromptu set as Obama stood on the streets and listened to them. He captioned the video, “When I was in Copenhagen, I ran into this group of singers who were rehearsing on their balcony. They were fantastic — take a listen:”

Rasmus Tantholdt commented on the post and told that it was a great Danish song regarding love for the country and is penned by Hans Christian Andersen. The choir also shared some pictures and videos. UngKlang, the music group said, “We start out laughing a little and think he is not really interested until we can see that he is ready to listen. Agnes puts on I was born in Denmark and the rest of us vote in and end up singing the song for a very impressed Obama.”
