Finland ‘mid-30s’ PM takes drug test after her wild party VIDEO got leaked

“To clear up any suspicions, I have taken a drug test today. Results will be out within a week”, she told the media at her residence

New Delhi: After a controversy erupted following a leaked video, Finland’s prime minister Sanna Marin on Friday told that she had taken a drug test to clear up ‘suspicions’.

The 36-year-old came under fire after a video of her partying with her friends drew outrage from people as well as the leaders of the opposition.

The video in question here became instant viral on social media as it shows Marin partying and grooving along with several friends, the local media reported.

The clip further sparked a discourse among internet user as some claim to hear the persons featured in the video to be referring about narcotics.

However, Marin has strongly denied the allegations and claimed that she has never consumed any narcotics in her life. “Never in my life, not even in my youth, have I ever used any drugs”, she said.

“To clear up any suspicions, I have taken a drug test today”, she told the media at her residence. She further said that the results will be out in a week and be shared with the media immediately.

Talking about the controversy, she admitted to consuming alcohol while denying consuming drugs or having witnessed any drug use at the party.

The young chief of Finland have been majorily criticised on the fact that she was on duty as the prime minister during partying and could not have been able to make a rational decision in case of an emergency in the state.

Several opposition leaders also slammed her over ‘inappropriate’ behaviour in terms of her designation.
