New Delhi: Gangster Goldy Brar has been added to the Canada’s list of top 25 most wanted fugitives. He is believed to be the main conspirators of popular Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder.
His name ha sbeen added in to the most wanted fugitives’ list by Interpol-Ottawa.
According to the official list, Goldy Brar is in Canada and his presence represents a risk to public safety.
The Official release also said the offences he had committed in India are “very serious in nature”.
Last year, India issued a red corner notice against him, which means that he can be arrested and detained abroad.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that authorities in Punjab are coordinating with international agencies.
Sidhu Mosse Wala Murder
Singer Sidhu Mosse wala was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa on May 29th 2022.
He was killed a day after his security was withdrawn by the Punjab police among 424 others.
Mosse Wala was shot was shot at when he was on his way to his relative’s place without private bulletproof car and two police commandos.
Following Sidhu Mosse Wala’s murder, it was found that jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang was involved in the incident. The resposiblity for the murder of Punjabi Singer was accepted by Gang member- Lucky.
Who is Goldy Brar?
Goldy Brar, alias Satinderjit Singh was a trucker who moved to Canada on student visa five years ago.
It is said that Brar and Bishnoi became friends during their student politics days in Chandigarh.
When Shidu Mosse Wala was shot dead, Lawrence Bishnoi was in Tihar Jail.
