New Delhi: Imran Khan, former Pakistan Prime Minister, is going viral for comparing himself to a Donkey in a video. The incident happened when Khan was giving a podcast interview and describing his life in the United Kingdom.

”I was part of the British society and was also welcomed there. However, I never thought it to be my home because I was a Pakistani first. I could not become an English man. If you put lines on a donkey, it cannot become a Zebra. A donkey always remains a donkey,” said Mr. Khan in the video.

The viral clip was posted on Twitter by Hasan Zaidi on Friday. Since being posted online, the video has received over 1 lakh views.

Notably, Imran Khan was replaced by Shehbaz Sharif as a Pakistan PM, president of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) after he lost the no-confidence motion on April 10.

After losing the majority in the National Assembly, Imran Khan has been demanding early general elections in the country before May 2023.

However, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced on April 27 that the general elections are not possible before the scheduled year, 2023.

Reportedly, the ECP decided to hold on the election as the seventh population census is set to commence on August 1 and results will be declared before December 31.
