Karnataka Hijab Row: Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai started trending on Twitter after she reacted on the ongoing hijab controversy in Karnataka where Muslim girls wearing the hijabs are being barred from attending classes.
She said that by refusing to let girls go to school in their hijab is horrifying.
Following the protests over wearing the hijab intensified at colleges in different parts of Karnataka after which the state government announced the closure of all high schools and colleges for next three days.
