Man, 29 arrested for stalking Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s home in California: Report

New Delhi: Kevin Garcia Valdovinos, 29, suspected of stalking Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle was arrested on Thursday outside the couple’s home in Santa Barbara County, California, a report claimed.

However, it is yet to be known whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, or their children Prince Archie or Princess Lilibet were presnt at their home when the incident occured.

According to the TMZ report, Valdovinos, was seen “lurking” outside the couple’s mansion in Montecito. Police booked him on misdemeanor stalking charges, said reports, but he was later released on  a bali amount of $2,500.

This incident comes hours after reports of the alleged stalker had emerged,

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s spokesperson said that the couple had been involved in a “near-catastrophic” car chase involving paparazzi.

At the time of incident, Meghan’s mother was also present in the car.

They were chased by the paparazzi in New York City after they attended a Ms Foundation gala, where Meghan Markle received the 2023 Women of Vision Award for her advocacy work.

The Couple is living at  the residence since 2020 after they stepped down from their royal duties.

Also, this comes at a time when Prince Harry argued in a London court that he should be allowed to challenge a UK government decision that denied him the right to pay for police protection when he visits his home country.
