Man attempts to kill Argentina Vice-President, guns fails to fire; shocking VIDEO emerges

In the video that emerged after the scary incident, the Argentina Vice-President can be seen exiting her car surrounded by supporters outside her home, when a man approaches towards her and extends his hand loaded with a pistol.

New Delhi: In a shocking development, a man tried to assassinate Argentina Vice-President Cristina Fernandez from a close range while she was heading towards people.

The appalling attempt to assassinate the Vice-President from a point-blank range was captured on camera. The attacker aimed the handgun at Cristina Fernandez, however, the gun failed to fire, thus saving her life.

The incident occurred in an upscale Recoleta locality of Argentinian capital Buenos Aires.

In the video that emerged after the scary incident, the Argentina Vice-President can be seen exiting her car surrounded by supporters outside her home, when a man approaches towards her and extends his hand loaded with a pistol. The vice president is seen ducking in while the security personnel rushing in to nab the assailant.

The video has gone viral on social media, however, it is not yet been verified. In the video, one can see pistol almost touching Fernandez’s face.

Later, Argentina President, addressing the nation, said “Cristina is alive for a reason. The gun which contained 5 bullets did not fire despite the trigger having been pulled.

35-year-old Brazilian man held

The man, whose identity is yet to be known, was detained by the security men. He is said to be a Brazilian. The accused was identified as a 35-year-old Fernando Andres Sabag Montiel, reported Sputnik.
