“New report soon…”: After Adani bomb US short-seller Hindenburg Research hints on “another big one”

New Delhi: Months after targeting Adani Group, US short-seller Hindenburg today said that it will be releasing a new report soon and they also promised it to be a ‘big one’.

Taking to Twitter, Hindenburg Research wrote, “New report soon—another big one. However, more details on this are yet to be revealed.

Gautam Adani’s elder brother, Vinod Adani, has been described by media as “an elusive figure”. He has regularly been found at the center of the government’s investigations into Adani for his alleged role in managing a network of offshore entities used to facilitate fraud. Although the new report is still a suspense, it is being speculated that the new report can be on the ongoing bank crisis.

In January 2023, Nate Anderson released a report on billionaire Gautam Adani’s group following which the market value of Adani Group and companies saw a major dip of more than 150 billion in about five weeks.

However, the Adani Group denied the accusations in the Hindenburg report.

On January 24, Hindenburg attacked the Adani group and accused the firm of various financial malpractices in their 106-page-long report.
