Darya, a sanctioned Russian nationalist whose 60-year-old father is dubbed to be ‘Putin’s brain’ was killed in an explosion on a highway near the village of Bolshiye Vyazyomy just outside the capital.

Several footages of the explosion has been going around the internet, which shows Darya’s car engulfed in flames. Reportedly, the crash took place when she was travelling back home. The pictures shared on social media show her father looking at the explosion with horror.

Darya was an occult writer and was popularly known for her far-right ideology and was known for being her father’s ‘guru adviser.’ Besides, she was included in UK sanctions lists in July this year.

Years before the Russia-Ukraine war in 2015, the US imposed sanctions on Alexander Dugin cutting business ties and freezing his asset of him. Some EU leaders also implemented sanctions on the ‘ultra-nationalists’ as a form of retaliation for Russia’s annexation of Crimea.

The news comes amid the ongoing shelling around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear station – held by Russia since March.
