As per the reports by Russia’s RT news, Kremlin has informed that Putin was not affected by the drone attack and that his working schedule has not changed. Kremlin cited it as a terrorist attack and noted that it reserves the right to take retaliatory measures.
As per the statement by the Kremlin, the Russian President was not in the building at the time of the attack and the drones were put down. Moscow’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin banned the unauthorised drone flights over the Russian capital.
It is expected that Russia will use the attack as an excuse to continue its escalation against Ukraine to continue the 14-month-long war.

Meanwhile, Russia will go on with the May 9 Victory Day parade as it is an important day in the history of World War II and Putin has used the sacrifice in the war to promote the feeling of nationalism in the citizens. Kremlin said that the security services are working to ensure that the parade across Red Square can be carried safely.
There have been reports of drone attacks in Russia since the war, however, Kyiv has not taken official responsibility for such attacks.
