New Delhi: Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is loved by all across the globe. It is a fast-food chain that serves chicken mixed with unique herbs and spices deep-fried in oil. One of its signature items is the delicious fried chicken wings. Like most people, a woman from the United Kingdom ordered the sumptuous hot wing meal, but what she was served, was the shock of her life.
A customer in the UK after ordering a hot wing meal found a fried chicken head. The woman who is identified as Gabrielle shared her review on December 3 along with posting a disgusting picture of the unwanted element in her meal. The picture was widely shared on social media. Take a look:

The handle named @takeawaytrauma hared the women’s experience on their Twitter as well as Instagram account. “I found a fried chicken head in my hot wing meal, put me off the rest, ugh,” she wrote in her review. The picture Gabrielle shared showed the picture of the chicken’s head with eyes and beak on it. The unwanted piece has been coated with a signature KFC batter and deep-fried.
Instagrammers were shocked as well as expressed their disgust and horror on seeing the picture of the chicken head. One of the users wrote, “I really wish I could go back in time by 2 minutes when I hadn’t seen this,” while another one wrote, “How did they not notice that while preparing the food?” Several other users commented, “If you eat meat there’s nothing to complain about, you’re just faced with the reality of what you’re eating for once.”
Meanwhile, KFC UK accepted their mistake regarding the circulated picture and termed Gabrielle’s review as “probably the most generous 2-star review ever.” In the post they wrote, that the pictures were “shocking” and “baffling” for the brand. Check out their post:

KFC has stated that following the incident they have put together a team for investigation. “Even the best laid plans – on rare occasions – go awry. And this is an incredibly rare one,” they wrote. On the other hand, Gabrielle was also invited for a free KFC meal and was shown the kitchen processes. “We hope Gabrielle will be back leaving us 5-star reviews soon,” KFC UK concluded their statement.
