New Delhi: The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has resulted in uprooting a large population of Ukrainians including thousands of foreign nationals.
Amidst numerous devastating pictures and videos on social media, a recent viral video from the war-torn country is winning the hearts on the Internet.
A video clip recently surfaced online, wherein a couple, both serving in Ukraine’s Army, are getting married donned in military uniforms, surrounded by several fellow soldiers.
This unique nuptial celebration reportedly took place near Ukraine’s capital city Kyiv, and the couple has been identified as Lesya and Valeriy – serving in the territorial defense force.
In the viral video, the bride can be seen wearing a white wedding veil, while holding a bouquet of flowers with one hand, and holding the groom’s hand with the other.
Their fellow soldiers can be heard singing local songs, playing Ukraine’s traditional musical instruments, while holding champagne flute glasses in their hands.
