“We will defeat the cult of gender ideology…”: Donald Trump addresses public meeting, shares his election promises

Known for his stand towards the LGBTQ community, Trump once again reiterated it in a public gathering where he talked about cutting federal funding for any school educating children on gender and race and the politics around them.

New Delhi: The USA is to undergo elections next year and former President Donald Trump has begun with addressing public rallies. Known for his stand towards the LGBTQ community, Trump once again reiterated it in a public gathering where he talked about cutting federal funding for any school educating children on gender and race and the politics around them.

The former President, in his address about education and gender, said that he will sign an executive order to cut federal funding for schools “pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other racial, sexual or political content” on children. He added that he will fight for parents’ rights and will ensure universal school choice and the parents directly electing the school principals.

Reinforcing, what he meant by this, Trump asked people to stand with him to defeat the ‘cult of gender ideology’ to reassert his belief that God created only two genders, namely, male and female. He even went on to say that he will keep “men”, referring to transgender athletes, out of women’s sports.

His ideas received applause from the public and were appreciated on the internet by Republican supporters. People came up with the idea that even if one has agency over one’s body and has a choice to live their life on their own terms, children should not be involved in this politics. However, his address received a mixed reaction on social media.

While there are people trying to teach young children about gender and race, so that they can be informed about liberty, choice and identity, Trump believes and wants to impose the idea of two genders on children and the general public of the USA.
