New Delhi: Hadis Najafi, a young Iranian women has been allegedly shot dead in the country, according to reports.
This comes days after a video of Hadis Najafi had gone viral on Internet in the middle of a protest. In the viral video, she was seen tying her unscarved hair back has been allegedly shot dead in the country, according to reports.
On September 25, Journalist and women’s rights advocate Masih Alinejad shared the news about her death on Twitter along with the details. She said that she was shot six times by authorities after tying her unscarved hair back and boldly stepping into the middle of a protest in Karaj.

Who was Hadis Najafi?
A 20-year-old, Hadis Najafi who was shot and killed by security forces, has become a latest symbol of the tragedy.
According to reports, Hadis was shot in the abdomen, neck, heart and hand. She was rushed to Ghaem Hospital after the attack, where she later died.
Now a video of her funeral is doing rounds on social media, where people can be seen weeping over a photo of her on a freshly dug grave.

Protest in Iran:
A nationwide protests began in Iran on September 16 over the death of Mahsa Amini. To show support, some women have removed their headscarves in the street or had set them on fire. Some have even cut their hair in public.
