Charges against Putin’s daughters

According to the news agency Reuters, America said that they have reason to believe that Putin and many of his allies and oligarchs hide their wealth. An official said on condition of anonymity that we believe that many of Putin’s assets are hidden with family members. That’s why we are targeting them.

However, Reuters correspondents were not immediately able to reach Putin’s daughters, his representatives, or the Kremlin for comment.

Sanctions announced on Wednesday also included the name of daughter and wife of Russian foreign affairs minister Sergei Lavrov. United states have further also disallowed Americans from investing in Russian financial institutions.

Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in February that the sanctions against Putin himself were meaningless. He has no property other than legitimate property.
