New Delhi: German luxury car maker Audi launched its flagship crossover SUV in India – Audi Q8, priced at ₹ 1.33 crore (ex-showroom).
The car will be available in just one variant in the country and will come only with the petrol option.
“We are entering a new segment with the Audi Q8. The year 2020 is an important year for Audi India, as we launch our new BS-VI product portfolio.
The Audi Q8 is part of our strategy to strengthen Audi’s presence in the country under the goals of Strategy 2025,” Audi India head Balbir Singh Dhillon said at the launch.
Specifications and Price:
Q8 is powered by a BS6-compliant 3.0-litre TFSI engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system that puts out 340PS of power and 500Nm of torque. This unit comes coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and is offered with an AWD drivetrain.
It sports 21-inch alloy wheels which fit well in the big wheel arches. Those competing with Q8 include Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne Coupe.

Cricket team captain Virat Kohli was spotted riding his all-new Audi Q8 SUV on Friday. The cricketer was spotted riding his car to the airport as he was leaving for the second ODI match against Australia in Rajkot. A video of this was shared on Instagram.
