4.14 Lakh fresh cases, 3,915 Deaths: India records highest Covid spike in 24 hrs
The total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered stand at 16,49,73,058, informed the Health Ministry.
The surge in the COVID-19 cases continues to affect India as the country records 4,14,188 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. This is the deadliest single-day spike in the cases since the pandemic began last year.
According to the Union Health Ministry, as many as 3,915 deaths and 3,31,507 recoveries were also recorded in the last 24 hours.
Total active cases of the infection in India have now mounted to 36,45,164.
The cumulative count of the COVID-19 has gone up to 2,14,91,598, while as many as 2,34,083 people have succumbed to the disease so far. A total of 1,76,12,351 people have recovered from the disease till now.
