Covid-19 recovery rate improves to 82.14%, 93,000 patients recover in last 24 hours

According to Health Ministry figures, total number of recoveries has reached over 48.19 lakh. Recovery rate has been further pushed to more than 82%.

With over 12,000 patients cured in last 24 hours, recovery rate improves to 58.67%

New Delhi: Recovery from the fatal coronavirus continues to register rise in numbers. As per today’s estimates, the country’s COVID-19 recovery rate improved to 82.14%%. During last 24 hours, more than 93,000 Covid-19 patients have recovered.

According to Health Ministry, total number of recoveries has reached over 48.19 lakh. The constantly increasing recoveries have ensured that the actual caseload of the country has reduced and currently comprises 16.28% of total positive cases.

Currently, the total number of active cases stand at 9.60 lakh though COVID-19 tally has crossed 59 lakh.

During the last 24 hours, 85,362 fresh infections were reported. Currently, India’s Case Fatality Rate is at 1.58% which is one of the lowest globally.

In the last 24 hours, 1,089 deaths have been reported taking the toll to 93,379.

In last 24 hours, more than 13.41 lakh tests were conducted. The total sample tested so far has reached over 7 crore.
