Health Ministry said more than 1.42 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered to beneficiaries in the country so far. A total of 7.96 lakh doses of vaccine were given to health care and frontline workers in the last 24 hours.
Only Maharashtra and Kerala have more than 35,000 active COVID-19 cases. A total of 47 districts have not reported new COVID19 cases in the last 3 weeks and 251 districts have not reported any COVID-related deaths in the last 3 weeks," Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said.
Covid-19: Kerala continues to report the highest daily new cases at 6,268. It is followed by Maharashtra with 2,771, while Tamil Nadu reported 509 new cases.
A total of over 1.01 crore have been recovered from the contagious disease so far. The national recovery rate has improved to 96.52% while rate of daily infection also been falling below 20,000.
Covid-19: Only 20,346 cases were reported in last 24 hours. The gap between the recovered patients and active cases in the country has further widened and the number of recovered patients stands at 44 times the number of current active cases.
The national recovery rate has improved to 96.12% with the recovery of over 99 lakh people so far. With recovery of over 22,900 in 24 hours, number of daily recoveries continue to outnumber the new daily cases.
Covid-19 Bulletin: India’s present active caseload of 3,72,293 consists of just 3.81% of India’s Total Positive Cases. The total recovered cases have surpassed 92.5 lakh (92,53,306) today.
Covid-19: Health Ministry has informed that nearly 78% of new Covid cases are concentrated in 10 states and Union territories of Delhi, Maharashtra , Kerala, West Bengal, Haryana and Rajasthan among others.
41,322 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours: Maharashtra continued to be the worst affected state in the country with 6,185 new COVID-19 cases, 4,089 recoveries, and 85 deaths on Friday.
Fighting Covid-19: Over 11.31 lakh Covid-19 samples were tested in the country in last 24 hours. With this, the cumulative testing figure has crossed an important milestone of 13.70 crore.
