India reported 38,164 new COVID19 cases, 38,660 recoveries, and 499 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry on Monday.
The active cases further declined to 4,21,665.
The COVID-19 death toll climbed to 4,13,609 with 499 fresh fatalities in the last 24 hours.

The Union Health Ministry has informed that the cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered under the nationwide vaccination drive has reached 40,64,81,493.
A total of 44,54,22,256 samples have been tested up to July 18. Of which, 14,63,593 samples were tested yesterday, said Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
