New Delhi: India reported 46,617 new COVID19 cases, 59,384 recoveries, and 853 deaths in the last 24 hours, said Union Health Ministry on Friday.
With the new cases, the cumulative caseload has climbed to 3,04,58,251 including 5,09,637 active cases, 4,00,312 deaths and 2,95,48,302 recoveries.
Active cases constitute 1.67% of total cases. Recovery Rate increases to 97.01%. Weekly Positivity Rate currently at 2.57%. Daily positivity rate at 2.48%, less than 5% for 25 consecutive days. Testing capacity ramped up – 41.42 cr tests total conducted, said Union Health Ministry.
A total of 41,42,51,520 samples tested up to June 28. Of which, 18,80,026 samples were tested yesterday, said the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
