New Delhi: India reported 86,498 new COVID-19 cases, 1,82,282 discharges, and 2123 deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday.
This is the lowest number of cases reported in the last 63 days. On April 5, 96,982 cases were reported. The following day, 1,15,736 new cases were reported.
A total of 2,89,96,473 positive cases have been reported so far, including 2,73,41,462 recoveries, and 113,03,702 active case.
As many as 36,82,07,596 samples have been tested in the country up to June 7 including 18,73,485 samples tested on Monday, the Indian Council.
As many as 23,61,98,726 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered so far.
