New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah while attending public meetings in support of party’s Janakpuri candidate Ashish Sood, accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of “changing” after coming to power on the back of the Anna movement.  Union ministers Giriraj Singh, Anurag Thakur, and Delhi MPs Parvesh Verma and Hans Raj Hans were also present at the meeting.

“Kejriwal came to power with the help of Anna Andolan but completely changed later on. He had said that he will not take any government accommodation or vehicles and other facilities but after becoming Chief Minister, he availed all these facilities,” Mr. Shah said. He alleged that Opposition parties could neither protect the country nor develop it.

“Arvind Kejriwal had said in 2015 that 15 lakh CCTV cameras will be installed in Delhi. But the people of Delhi are still searching for those cameras. He had talked of buying 5,000 buses. But in reality, the Kejriwal government reduced the existing number of buses by 1100. They had promised that they will make the temporary employees permanent but did not deliver on the promise,” he added.
