Axis My India’s Exit Poll prediction for Delhi Assembly elections hit the bull’s eye. The premiere survey agency’s numbers forecast turned out to be meticulously accurate with the election results.
Axis My India predicted a thumping majority for AAP with 59-68 seats, dismal show for BJP with 2-11 seats and a duck for Congress. And, when the results were declared, the numbers were spot on…. AAP won 62 seats while BJP got 8 and Cong nil.
In terms of vote share, AAP saw a marginal drop from 54.3% in 2015 to 53.6 % in 2020. The BJP’s vote share, on the other hand, jumped significantly from 32.3% in 2015 to 38.5% in 2020.
Axis My India’s exit polls are turning out to be Exact polls, for few years now. It has been forecasting accurate numbers repeatedly… 2019 General Elections, Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand, to name a few.
As his exit poll numbers earned all-round applause, Axis My India CMD Pradeep Gupta broke into a jig to “Shahrukh Khan-starrer Badshah” song live on TV.
