New Delhi: The BJP has released its list of star campaigners for the Delhi Assembly polls and named 40 leaders including party chief JP Nadda, PM Modi, Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath and several union ministers and chief ministers of the states ruled by the party.
It’s interesting that MP Sunny Deol has made it to the list. Many ‘Missing’ posters of Sunny Deol came out in Punjab earlier. The actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol, had appointed his personal assistant last year to ensure ‘smooth flow of work’ during his absence but that also created controversy.
Here’s the list of the star campaigners
Union Ministers, including Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Anurag Thakur, Mukhtar Abbar Naqvi, Thawarchand Gehlot will campaign for the party, which won only 3 seats out of 70 in 2015 polls. Apart from BJP’s head team, the list includes Ramesh Bidhuri, Anurag Thakur, Ravi Kishan and Hema Malini.
Delhi, which has 70 seats, is slated to go to polls on February 8. The counting of votes will take place on February 11.
