New Delhi: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India has invited applications for the post of recruitment auditors and accountants. A notice in this regard has been issued at the link – https://cag.gov.in/en. However, this is a proposed recruitment notice and not a notice inviting applications.
The draft notification has listed out possible 10811 posts for Accountant and Auditors with CAG India.

• Auditor: 6409 Posts

CAG Recruitment 2021: Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. Language proficiency for the language specified, and at the level as prescribed and to be tested, for the State in which the vacancies exist and recruitment is to take place, in the office of State Accountants General.

The age limit of the candidate should be between 18 to 27 years of age.

• Auditor: Level- 5 (Rs. 29200- 92300)
• Accountant: Level- 5 (Rs. 29200- 92300)

For all appointed candidates, the candidates will have to serve probation period for two years. The method of recruitment is 50% by promotion failing which by deputation and 50% by direct recruitment.
