New Delhi: The Chhattisgarh Board Of Secondary Education (CGBSE) released the result of class 10 on Wednesday May 19. CGBSE Class 10 class result is available on the official website of the board – www.cgbse.nic.in.
A total of 4.61 lakh students registered for this year’s exams, out of which 4,46,393 students scored first division marks which makes up for the 96.81 per cent of the total result declared. While, 9024 class 10 students got second division which is 1.96 per cent of the total number of students who registered. Similarly, 5676 students have got the third division which is 1.23 per cent of the total students.
Earlier, Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) had cancelled the Class 10th Board exams due to the sudden rise of COVid-19 cases in the state. Later, a new evaluation criteria was introduced for class 10 students based on which the result has been declared. As per the state’s new evaluation policy, regular students who did not appear for practical exams or projects due to COVID-19 will be given minimum marks required for passing.
Class 10 results have been evaluated on the basis of internal assessment. So, in a theory subject maximum of 72 out of 75 marks will be awarded. Similarly, for theory exams of additional subjects, a maximum of 29 out of 30 can be awarded and 68 out of 70 will be valid for practical exams.
