DU announces tentative datesheet for semester exams of UG courses…details here

Delhi University UG exams 2021 will be conducted online in an open-book format as the alternative to pen-paper format amid the coronavirus pandemic.

New Delhi: Delhi University has released the tentative datesheet for examinations in undergraduate courses (UG). The University has released the tentative datesheet for the exams of undergraduate (UG) courses: BA, BSc, BCom (second and fourth-semester students). To check the datesheet, students can go on the official website of the university, du.ac.in. Exams will begin from May 18 and the last exam will be held on June 6. For students who were admitted in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 exams will have to appear for the exam after May 15.

DU Under-graduate exams

Datesheet for Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) Semester Examinations May/June, 2021 has been released by the university for Ex-students, essential repeaters and students appearing for improvement exams of Part 1, or second semester, will also “appear as per rule”, the DU date sheets added.

Students can send their queries or suggestions to [email protected] by 5PM on April 15. An official statement says, “Please send your observations and comments [on the DU tentative datesheets] latest by April 15, 2021.”

Delhi University UG exams 2021 will be conducted online in an open-book format as the alternative to pen-paper format amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Online Exam Guidelines

Students will have to write the answers on an A-4 sheet and also mark the page number on the top of each sheet.

On the first page, students will write their details – date and time of examination (DD/MM/YYYY, HRS:Min), examination roll number, name of the programme, semester, unique paper code (UPC), title of the paper, name of the college/institute along with e-mail ID and mobile number of the student.

Duration

Total duration of the exam will be four hours out of which three hours will be for writing answers. The remaining one hour will be for downloading the question papers, scanning the answer sheet in the PDF/JPEG format and then uploading the answer sheets on the examination portal. Students of Divyaang (PwBD) category will have six hours in total.

Along with the answer sheets, students will also have to submit an undertaking of not using any unfair means. Students can upload the undertaking by pressing the button provided on the portal, undertaking has to be uploaded before uploading the scanned PDF/JPEG of answer sheets.
