New Delhi: Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that state government has decided to recruit a total 6,616 new posts with a view to build career through employment opportunities in the field of higher education as well as secondary education in the state.
Under the visionary leadership of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has taken an important decision to provide maximum opportunities in education sector.
Detailing on the important decision, Chudasama said that, 927 Assistant professors will be recruited in Non-Government Grant-in-aid colleges through Centralized Recruitment Process across the state. Services 927 Assistant professors for 44 different subjects will be made available through this recruitment.
Candidates can apply online till Jan 20, 2021
Last date for online application for recruitment of Assistant Professors (Adhyapak Sahayak) will be 20th of January 2021 and more details of the recruitment will be available from the website www.rascheguj.in.
Apart from this, State Government will also recruit a total of 5700 Assistant teachers in Non-Government Grant-in-aid secondary and higher secondary schools. Accordingly, 3382 Assistant teachers in Non-Government Grant-in-aid will be recruited in higher secondary and 2307 in secondary schools.

Detailing on the 3382 Assistant teacher’s recruitment in higher secondary Mr. Chudasama said that 624 for English subject, 446 for Account and Commerce subject, 334 for Sociology subject, 276 for Economics subject, 254 for Gujarati subject and others subjects.
Similarly, 2307 assistant teachers to be recruited in secondary school include 1037 for Mathematics-Science subject, 442 for English subject, 289 for Social Science subject, 234 for Gujarati subject and other subjects.
Mr. Chudasama expressed his confidence that the new workforce of skilled manpower in the field of education would contribute in shaping the careers of the students of the state.
