New Delhi: Engineers Day is observed every year on this day, as this day marks the birth anniversary of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
He is one of India’s greatest engineers who is celebrated every year as Engineer’s Day. He is well known as ‘Sir MV’.
He was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1955 for his immense contribution to India’s early infrastructure development, education and social welfare.
