I&B minister launches ‘Chal Mann Vrindavan’ coffee table book in Mumbai

The book launch saw presence of many eminent guests from film industry, which included Shatrughn Sinha, Jitendra, Jackie Shroff, Ranjeet, director Ramesh Sippy, Anil Sharma, Esha Deol, Ahana Raheja along with Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Publisher of “Chal Mann Vrindavan”.

Mumbai: Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports Anurag Singh Thakur on Saturday launched “Chal Mann Vrindavan” Coffee Table Book, a publication supported by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOL).

The book launch saw presence of many eminent guests from film industry, which included Shatrughn Sinha, Jitendra, Jackie Shroff, Ranjeet, director Ramesh Sippy, Anil Sharma, Esha Deol, Ahana Raheja along with Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Publisher of “Chal Mann Vrindavan”.

Addressing the audience, the I&B minister heaped praise on the BJP MP Hema Malini for her contributions in the coffee table book and said that the book beautifully highlights the history, culture & religion associated with the temple town of Vrindavan.

“Chal Mann Vrindavan is a glimpse of Braj, and various cultural dimensions of Braj are presented in this Coffee Table Book. I appreciate Hema Malini and her team, as well as the Indian Oil team led by Shrikanth Madhav Vaidya, for bringing forth this prestigious book which reflects the true essence of Vrindavan.” Indian Oil is also into preserving our rich cultural heritage and it has played a vital role in bringing this book to fruition” said Anurag Thakur while addressing the gathering.

Hema Malini, the BJP MP from Mathura and also the chief editor of ‘Chal Mann Vrindavan’ said that the book eloquently describes the history & rich culture of Brij area and it was a blessing for her to be part of it.
