National recruitment agency (NRA) gets govt nod, 1 exam for govt jobs in Group B, C service

The NRA will conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for selection to non-gazetted posts in the central government and public sector banks. Candidates who qualify this Common Entrance Test (CET) can apply to any recruitment agencies for higher level of examination.

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet has given approval for setting up of National Recruitment Agency (NRA) that will create a central body for selection to non-gazetted posts – Group B & C in Central government and public sector banks (PSUs).

The NRA will conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for selection to non-gazetted posts in the central government and public sector banks. Candidates who qualify this Common Entrance Test (CET) can apply to any recruitment agencies for higher level of examination. The score will be valid for 3 years during which candidate can apply for jobs in different sectors depending upon his/her aptitude and preferences.
