NEET re-exam held for candidates who missed it due to Covid-19

NEET re-exam held for candidates: Students can check the consolidated NEET exam results 2020 on the official website of the administering body — ntaneet.ac.in on October 16.

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) re-exam today for those students who could not take the test last month on September 13 due to reasons associated with Covid-19.

The NEET 2020 exam was conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm in pen and paper mode.

The combined result of 13th September and 14th October will be declared on 16th October.

Candidates, who were either COVID-19 positive or were in containment zones on September 13 and couldn’t take the test, were eligible for today’s examination.

Of 15.97 lakh candidates, 14.37 lakh students appeared for exam on 13th September.

NEET, is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate medical and allied programs in the country.

For admission to undergraduate medical and allied programs, the NEET cut-off is the last rank via which students seek admission to medical institutes.

Students can check the consolidated NEET exam results 2020 on the official website of the administering body — ntaneet.ac.in on October 16.

After the NEET 2020 results is announced, the NTA will also release state-wise NEET merit lists for conducting NEET counseling for 85% medical and dental seats.
