NTPC tops Twitter trend: Awaiting results for 5 months, students roast Railways; memes float

New Delhi: It has been close to 5 months since completion of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducted Non- Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam for the recruitment for various posts. Candidates have been marking time for the result declaration of the Computer Based (CBT) mode for past five months now, though no official notification on the has been made by the RRB yet.

RRB NTPC and RRC group D recruitment were announced in February 2019. More than 2 crore candidates in total have applied in the NTPC exams.

The most recent update from the board was in November 26, 2 years since the exams in which RRB had asked the candidates to claim refund on the fees.

Since Wednesday, the candidates have been putting forward protestation on the microblogging site Twitter by sharing humorous jokes and memes while tagging railway ministry and railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw along with them.
