The interaction will happen on January 29 from 11 onwards in a townhall format at the Bharat Mandapam complex. A total of about 4,000 students would be interacting with Prime Minister.

How the program was conceived, implemented

‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, said to be the ‘brainchild’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was conceived & launched with a vision to allay the anxieties & apprehensions of students during the Board Examinations. During the interaction, not just students but parents as well as teachers interact directly with the Prime Minister over a slew of topics related to examinations and also about the ‘life after school’.

Students as well as parents from the country & abroad share their mental state, exam-related issues clouding their mind while Prime Minister tries to ‘comfort’ them with convincing answers.

The event has been organized successfully for past 6 years, by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.

Notably, Pariksha Pe Charcha is a part of larger movement – ‘Exam Warriors’ – led by PM Modi, for creating stress-free atmosphere for students appearing in exams.
