New Delhi: Pariksha Pe Charcha, a unique initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for de-stressing the students ahead of their board examinations, is all set to take place on January 29, 2024.

The initiative launched by PM Modi, six years ago has gone a long way in mitigating the anxiety & worries of students ahead of their Class 10th & 12th Examinations and also help face it with a strong mental frame.

A whopping 1 crore registrations, this year

A whopping 1 crore registration for the upcoming event has come as a major landmark for the Pariksha Pe Charcha, this year.

As per MyGov portal, more than 1 crore students, parents & teachers had already registered for the 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, till a week ago.

Another special highlight of the program is that this year PM Modi’s interaction with students will happen at Bharat Mandapam, the venue that hosted world’s biggest leaders during the G20 Summit.

Modi - Pariksha pe charcha

The interaction will happen on January 29 from 11 onwards in a townhall format at the Bharat Mandapam complex. A total of about 4,000 students would be interacting with Prime Minister.

How the program was conceived, implemented

‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, said to be the ‘brainchild’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was conceived & launched with a vision to allay the anxieties & apprehensions of students during the Board Examinations. During the interaction, not just students but parents as well as teachers interact directly with the Prime Minister over a slew of topics related to examinations and also about the ‘life after school’.

Students as well as parents from the country & abroad share their mental state, exam-related issues clouding their mind while Prime Minister tries to ‘comfort’ them with convincing answers.

The event has been organized successfully for past 6 years, by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.

Notably, Pariksha Pe Charcha is a part of larger movement – ‘Exam Warriors’ – led by PM Modi, for creating stress-free atmosphere for students appearing in exams.
