RRB NTPC exams 2020: Admit card next week; details on centre, exam time

RRB NTPC admit card is likely to be issued 4 days before the exam by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Recruitment includes positions like Clerk, Time Keeper, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Typist, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master.

New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to conduct examinations for recruitment on Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts from December 28 and will continue till March 2021.

RRB NTPC admit card is likely to be issued 4 days before the exam by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

It will be a mega recruitment drive under which about 1.4 lakh people will be selected for the existing vacancies. The application process for the recruitment drive took place in February 2019 and exams were initially scheduled in June 2019. But, examinations were conducted only for Paramedical category and the rest process was delayed.

In September, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal had said that the exam will be conducted from December 15.

NTPC recruitment includes positions like Clerk, Time Keeper, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Typist, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master.

Under the RRB NTPC recruitment, there are about 35208 vacancies, for which 1.26 crore applications have been received. However, for Level -1 posts, there are about 1,03,769 vacancies for which 1.15 crore applicants have been received, said a leading daily.

RRB Recruitment Exam guidelines

• Candidates will have to wear masks at the examination centres
• Temperature of candidates will be checked at entry gate. Those with high temperature or above the prescribed limit will not be allowed inside the exam centre.
• While conducting examinations, social distancing between candidates will be enforced

• This year, the student’s biometric impressions will not be captured at the examination centers.
• At the entry gate, RRB NTPC admit card and photo-identity proof will be checked before allowing candidates to enter the exam hall.
