SSC releases 2020 exam calendar, see dates of CGL, CHSL and other exams

SSC releases 2020 exam calendar: Dates for combined graduate level (CGL), combined higher secondary level (CHSL), junior engineer, stenographer and multi-tasking staff have been released.

New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the examination calendar for the year 2020-21. In the notification, the Commission has announced dates for pending examinations like combined graduate level (CGL), combined higher secondary level (CHSL), junior engineer, stenographer and multi-tasking staff and other recruitment examinations.

According to the examination calendar, the SSC CHSL 2019 exam will be held from October 12 to Oct 26 while CGL 2019 Tier 2 exam would take place from Nov 2 to Nov 5.

The junior engineer recruitment exam paper 1 will be held from October 27 to 30 while the SSC Selection Post/ Phase- VIII 2020 exam will be held from November 6 to 10.

For Stenographer Grade C & D, the examinations would held from Nov 16 to Nov 18 while the exams for Junior and Senior Hindi Translators would be held on November 19.

SSC Junior Engineer 2020 paper 1 exam will take place from March 22 to 25. Advertisement for SSC CHSL 2020 will come on Nov 6 and the tier-1 exam will be conducted from April 12 to 27, 2021.

SSC SI, CAPF 2020 Paper 2 exam will be held on July 12, 2021. SSC MTS 2020 paper 1 exam will be held form July 1 to 20, 2021 for which the advertisement will be released on February 2, 2021.

Since Corona pandemic has affected functioning of all systems, candidates should keep checking the official website of SSC for updates or if any change in the dates of examination.

It may be noted that the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) would conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) for preliminary qualification for IBPS, SSC and RRBs. It will conduct the preliminary examinations or Tier 1 exams while the main recruitment and selection procedure would be handled and managed by the respective agencies.
