West Bengal: WBBSE issues guidelines for secondary offline classes; Check details here

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has released some guidelines for the reopening of the secondary classes.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released new guidelines for the reopening of physical classes from 9 to 12. The broad in its guidelines stated that all its affiliated schools will conduct alternate offline classes for the secondary students.

According to the guidelines, classes 10th and 12th will have physical classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays whereas classes 9th and 11th will have offline classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The guidelines are issued to maintain social distancing.

Here are some instructions regarding the reopening of schools of the WBBSE:

  • The academic studies that will be held on non-alternate days will be looked after by the school management.
  • In all the sub-divisions except Darjeeling and Kalimpong, the physical classes for the 10th and 12th will be held from 10:50 AM to 04:30 PM from Monday to Friday.
  • For Darjeeling and Kalimpong, classes for the 10th and 12th will be held from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • No classes will be held on Saturdays.
  • Feedback sessions, awareness generations, and orientation sessions of the guardians will be held only on Saturdays.
