New Delhi: 12th fail actor Vikrant Massey shared some candid confessions during the shoot of the film ’12th fail’. The film is based on a real life story of an IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and how he cracked the UPSC exam despite facing the odds and challenges. The film did extremely well at the box office and continue to steal the hearts of the audience even while streaming on the OTT.
Vikrant Massey: I kept crying even when the shot was over
During a recent interview, the actor shared that he got so emotionally connected with the character of the IPS officer Manoj Sharma that he kept crying even when the shot was over. This is what the actor said, “Even with Manoj Kumar Sharma, there were moments when Vinod sir would call a cut and I would continue weeping even after the cut is called because I just could not control myself,” he said. The actor also called the director Vidhu Vinod Chopra his light at the end of the tunnel in his Instagram post.

The film was released on 27th October 2023 and also stars Medha Shankar, Sanjay Bishnoi and Anant Joshi. The film is also based on the book written by Anurag Pathak. The film is currently doing well at the OTT platforms also. The director of the film Vidhu Vinod Chopra also shared a post in Instagram where he can be seen hugging the real life IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and his wife Shraddha Joshi who is also an IRS officer.

According to sources, the 12th fail actor will be seen in Yaar Jigri in the current year. Apart from 12th fail the actor has worked in Made in Heaven, Mirzapur, Haseen Dilruba and Criminal justice etc.
