Deepika Padukone's 'Chhapaak' has finally hit the theatres on Friday and has been receiving mixed responses from the audiences. The actress is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film even after the release. She is visiting different events and platforms to promote the film which is based on the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Early in the day, Deepika visited on the sets of a popular Marathi dance reality show to promote the film. The actress was papped outside the studio clad in a scintillating yellow saree bordered with red embroidery lace paired with a multi-coloured floral print blouse. She rounded off her look with traditional earrings and tied her up in a messy bun.

The movie is based on the real-life acid attack survivor of Laxmi, who at the age of 15, was attacked allegedly by a spurned lover in 2005.

On the work front, Deepika will play the role of husband Ranveer's reel wife in the upcoming sports drama '83.' She is also a co-producer of the film.

Deepika will also be seen in Meghna Gulzar directorial 'Chhapaak,' playing the role of an acid attack survivor alongside actor Vikrant Massey.
