New Delhi: The day when Chandryan 3 will finally land on the moon is not far away and the entire nation is eagerly waiting for witnessing the historic moment.

While countrymen are overwhelmed with pride and expressing their joy over ISRO’s moon mission, Bollywood actor Prakash Raj is having a hard time defending himself against the trolls who are bashing the actor over his recently made joke about ISRO’s lunar quest.

Prakash Raj’s controversial tweet

The actor, taking to his Twitter (X) on Sunday, dropped an objectionable picture of a caricatured man dressed in a loose shirt and lungi with a mug of tea in his hand. Along with the post, Prakash tried to crack a joke by attaching a caption that read, “BREAKING NEWS:- First picture coming from the Moon by VikramLander Wow.”

However, the Dabangg 2’s actor’s joke didn’t go well with the netizens and infuriated millions in a matter of few hours. He received so much hate for the same that hashtags saying “Prakash Raj Gaddar Hai” (Prakash is a traitor) started trending all over social media.

Bashing the actor one internet user wrote, “Shame on you Prakash Raj. You are a real-life villain. Desh ke dushman ho tum.”

Another said, “You need medical treatment. But even that won’t be able to treat your sick thinking.”

Every Indian is immensely proud of #Chandrayaan3 Shame on you for mocking Chandrayaan 3, anyways what else one can expect from an Anti-Indian like you.”, commented a third user.

Prakash Raj tells netizens to “Grow up”

Unbudged by netizens’ anger, Prakash defended his stance by making a follow-up post on Monday in which he schooled the trolls and advised them to learn to ‘take a joke’.

Replying to his haters, Prakash took to his Twitter handle and penned, “Hate sees only Hate. I was referring to a joke of #Armstrong times .. celebrating our Kerala Chaiwala .. which Chaiwala did the TROLLS see ?? .. if you don’t get a joke then the joke is on you GROW UP #justasking.”
