New Delhi: Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have tied the knot today at their house Vastu in the presence of their family members and close friends.
It was only on Wednesday (April 13) that the wedding date of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor was made official by groom’s mother Neetu Kapoor and Sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
Family members, close friends and few from the Bollywood industry was present during the pre-wedding ceremonies.
Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karan Johar, Aadar Jain and several other stars are present to bless the couple.
Talking about the guest list, celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Akansha Ranjan, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Zoya Akhtar, Masaba Gupta, Manish Malhotra, and Anushka Ranjan (Alia’s best friend) are attending Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding.

Haldi ceremony begins
According to reports, it has been said that the haldi ceremony of Alia and Ranbir has begun.
Sangeet and mehendi ceremonies will take place
It is said that the mehendi ceremonies of this Bollywood couple is scheduled to take place today at RK House in Chembur. Sangeet ceremony will be held tomorrow. The security have been beefed up, ahaed of all the wedding ceremonies.
Wedding Date Postponed
It is being said that the wedding dates of Alia and Ranbir has been postponed. According to Alia Bhatt’s uncle Robin Bhatt the Bollywood stars will tie the knot on April 14.
Also, the couple will host wedding receptions for their friends on April 16 and 17 at Taj Colaba.

Special party for Alia
Sources from Bollywood told IndiaToday that Akansha Ranjana and Anuskha Ranjan, the best friend of Alia Bhatt, are planning a special party for her. The duo has also planned to invite Alia’s childhood friends as well.
The reports suggest that Ranbir may enjoy his bachelor party with Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ayan Mukerji.
Marriage to be as per Punjabi tradition
In one of the media reports, Ranbir has specially booked the banquet hall at his residential complex, situated in Mumbai. Some romours suggest the couple will tie the knot at Ranbir Kapoor’s home in Pali Hill.
In the banquet hall, only 40 to 50 people will be allowed. Some reports said Ranbir told the building committee that there would not be more than 15 people at a time on any given day.
Besides this, it is being reported that the wedding will be completed as per a Punjabi tradition. After the rituals, langar will be conducted at a gurudwara in Mumbai.
Alia Bhatt’s uncle reveals marriage and mehandi date
Talking to the media, uncle Robin said the function of Mehandi will be held on April 13. The duo will tie the knot on April 14, added Robin. It ended the speculation in media reports regarding the date of Alia and Ranbir’s marriage.
