New Delhi: One of the loveliest couples in the Btown – Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor is all set to tie the knot in April. Several reports speculate that the preparation for their wedding is in full swing and both Bhatt and Kapoor households are busy regarding the same. According to a recent report, the festivities of Alia-Ranbir’s wedding will start on April 13, beginning with the Mehendi function. Reportedly, Neetu Kapoor will be wearing an outfit designed by Manish Malhotra on her son’s D-day.
Mehendi and Sangeet plans revealed
As per the reports, the wedding festivities will start on April 13 with the Mehendi ceremony. The ceremony will take place at the respective houses of the soon-to-be bride and groom. It will be followed by a Haldi and Sangeet celebration on April 14 and the wedding will take place on April 15. According to reports by IndiaTV, the couple will have a Punjabi wedding.
Outfits of Alia and Ranbir on their wedding
Ace designer Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee will be designing the outfits of Alia Bhatt, while Ranbir Kapoor will also wear an outfit designed by Manish Malhotra.
Neetu Kapoor’s outfit on son’s big day
Several reports suggested that Neetu Kapoor will be wearing outfits by designer Manish Malhotra for the Punjabi wedding. Reportedly, Neetu Kapoor was spotted outside Manish Malhotra’s store with her team members on April 6. Pinkvilla reported that they were carrying large outfit packages which they took to Ranbir’s Bandra home.
Bachelor and Bachelorette parties
A source reported to India Today that Alia’s best friends Akansha Ranjan and Anushka Ranjan are planning a special party for Alia. “The party will most likely take place at Anushka’s place. And the guest list includes Alia’s childhood friends as well,” stated the source. Meanwhile, Ranbir is planning on enjoying his bachelor party with Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Ayan Mukerji.
“The actor is planning a bachelor’s party at his place. It will be attended by his close buddies from the world of showbiz and his childhood friends. This is Ranbir’s way of throwing an impromptu bachelor’s party,” the insider said.
