Aryan Khan Drugs Case : “Anxious to get into spotlight”, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer slams NCB

An NCB team busted an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia Cruise ship which was on its way to Goa at mid-sea on October 2.

New Delhi: Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was released from Arthur Road jail on Saturday morning. Aryan was granted bail on Thursday evening, and after all the formalities were completed, he was finally released yesterday.

Needless to say, it was indeed a celebration time for Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan as their son has finally arrived home. Shah Rukh’s residence Mannat had also been decorated for Aryan’s return on Friday night.

Meanwhile, post to Aryan’s homecoming, a sharp criticism on the functioning of anti-drug agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has come from senior advocate Vikas Singh, who represented actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case in 2020.

In conversation with news channel NDTV, Singh said, “The NCB is very anxious to get into media and basically all these cases are being picked up to get into the spotlight”.

“They are targeting small-time consumers and in Delhi, our children tell us drugs are being consumed by children at parties. If this is the standard of NCB, they should start raiding parties in Delhi as well where powerful people are there”, he added.

Sushant breathed his last on June 14, 2020. Early investigations by the Mumbai Police concluded that he had died by suicide. The case is still being investigated. Rajput’s death had set off a series of investigations into alleged drug links in the film industry.
