“Audience will hate Bollywood”: KRK slams Karan Johar and other celebrities

Recently, several Bollywood celebrities criticised viewers’ take on boycotting their movies on grounds of their previous controversial remarks

New Delhi: In a short course of time, the film stars who were considered to deliver back-to-back hits at the box office despite the average content in their films, are requesting the audience not to boycott their movies and visit the theatres.

Whether you’re a movie lover or not, you must be aware of the plight of Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ as well as Akshay Kumar’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ which proved to be a massive failure in terms of collection despite being big budget and star-studded films.

The key reason behind both the movies going flop in cinema halls is believed to be the widespread calls for their boycott before their release on social media.

Recently, several Bollywood celebrities criticised viewers’ take on boycotting their movies on grounds of their previous controversial remarks. Actor Arjun Kapoor even demanded strong action against those who calls for the boycott of Bollywood content.

And who is spending money to trend this? Only Bollywood people like #KaranJohar! Will this help Bollywood? Of course not. People will hate Bollywood more like this. We have to make good films only to win the hearts of audiences”.
